Kitchen Assistance

Location:
819 Hidalgo St.

Times available to volunteer:
Anytime between 6 a.m. – 7 p.m., Monday – Friday.
or anytime between 6 a.m. – 2 p.m., Saturday.

Volunteer tasks:
Light food prep, serve meals, organize food and supplies, wash dishes, clean dining room.

Vintage Store

Location:
920 Hidalgo St.

Times available to volunteer:
Anytime between 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Tuesday – Saturday.

Volunteer tasks:
Basic retail store duties including, sort and organize donations, hang/fold clothes, assist customers, and light cleaning of the store.

Learning Center

Location:
817 Hidalgo St.

Times available to volunteer:
Afterschool tutoring: Flexible hours
Luz de Esperanza (Life skills learning program): 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., Saturday only.

Volunteer tasks:
After school tutoring, teach shelter children by subjects.
Luz de Esperanza, coordinate life skills and character building activities for kids.
